What does Cellnuo make?
Insulin and its analogues, GLP-1 peptides, recombinant enzymes and growth factors, all by fermentation in Nanjing. See the products page for the full list and the specifications.
How are the peptides made?
By recombinant expression in E. coli and, for GLP-1 peptides, semi-synthesis. Fermentation gives high solubility and low aggregation at large scale; liraglutide runs in a 1,000 L tank at 60 kg a year.
Which documents come with a batch?
The specification, the test methods and the batch documents. For semaglutide, liraglutide and degludec the quality documents are ready for a DMF.
Can you transfer a process to our plant?
Yes. We start from your molecule and your receiving site, agree the documents and methods, plan the training and support the start-up at your site.
